Gender Identity

Individuals should have the right to define their own gender identity. Equality Texas supports legislation that facilitates the ability of people to have their gender reassigned on their Texas Driver's License.

Equality Texas also supports legislation inclusive of gender identity that prohibits discrimination in employment, education, housing and public accomodations.
