The Equality Texas Candidate Directory is an effort of Equality Texas — a 501c4 political advocacy organization, and is designed to give voters a clearinghouse of information pertaining to which candidates seeking various offices are in support of full lived equality for all LGBTQ+ Texans and highlights when candidates are themselves members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Participation in the directory is optional and DOES NOT imply an endorsement from Equality Texas.

We encourage voters to research the candidates and make an informed decision before Turning OUT to the polls. Most candidates have policy priorities and positions listed on their website.
