Are you interested in learning more about LGBTQ issues? E², a comprehensive Equality Education program, combines issue briefings, skill-based trainings, and other opportunities for advocates to learn about LGBTQ issues. The E² program seeks to expand the knowledge and skills of LGBTQ Texans and their allies to be able to advocate on behalf of equality.
Issue briefings include topics like nondiscrimination protections, family recognition, transgender rights, LGBTQ youth, and news from the local, state, and national level.
Skill-based trainings introduce advocates to the legislative process, workshops on storytelling, and ways to advocate remotely.
Equality Texas creates E² opportunities both in-person and online as an ongoing effort to keep LGBTQ Texans and allies equipped with the education and tools needed to navigate their advocacy journey.
