2017: 85th First Special Session

The 85th First Special Session of the Texas Legislature convenes on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. The 31 members of the Texas Senate and the 150 members of the Texas House of Representatives will consider legislation that directly impacts the lives of 27 million Texans. For the next 30 days throughout the special session, Equality Texas will aggressively advocate and lobby to defeat any and all legislation targeting lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Texans for discrimination.
