Equality Texas Welcomes New Team Members to Stop LGBTQ Discrimination

Austin, Texas (November 14, 2018) – Equality Texas, the largest statewide organization solely dedicated to securing full equality for LGBTQ Texans, today welcomes three new team members who are committing to our vision of a state where all Texans have full legal and lived equality.

Chuck Smith, CEO of Equality Texas named Kim Delinski, Development Director for Equality Texas. Kim has over 10 years of fund raising experience and a proven track record of building and maintaining meaningful relationships that work together to create positive change.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to connect more Texans with Equality Texas and its mission of securing full equality for the LGBTQ community. I believe strongly that when all Texans have full equality, without fear of discrimination because of who they love or who they are, everyone in this great state wins,” said Kim Delinski, Development Director for Equality Texas.

In addition to Delinski, Smith named Debi Jackson, Digital Communications Coordinator and TreShaun Pate as the North Texas Field Coordinator.

Jackson has a degree in Journalism and spent 20 years working in corporate communications, advertising, and marketing. She became an advocate for transgender rights in 2014 when her speech about her daughter’s transition at the age of 4 went viral. She will lead digital communications for Equality Texas.

Pate is a veteran, a community leader and a passionate advocate for the empowerment of transgender people of color. Pate oversees grassroots organizing efforts for Equality Texas in the DFW area, focusing on building community power and increasing support for LGBTQ equality.
