Abounding Prosperity, Inc. is a community based organization founded in January 2006, with the express purpose of responding to social and health disparities impacting African American men and their families in Dallas County.


allgo envisions a just and equitable society that celebrates and nurtures vibrant people of color queer cultures.

Atticus Circle educates and mobilizes fair-minded straight people to advance equal rights for  LGBT partners, parents, and their children. To accomplish our goal, Atticus Circle will focus its efforts on education and policy development.


Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Church is a progressive faith community located in the Clear Lake area of greater Houston. We hold diverse beliefs but are united by our faith in the worth and dignity of every person, our commitment to serving our neighbors around the corner and the globe, and the call to build a world defined by love and justice. As we say each Sunday at Bay Area, "Love is the doctrine of this church, and service is its prayer."

Collin County Gay & Lesbian Alliance (CCGLA) - Our mission is to advocate equal civil rights, achieve full participation in society and promote dignity and respect for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered individuals by providing education, political awareness and social interaction.

Central Texas Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) - We are a people unified in our belief that God affirms and delights in the diversity of all people, including the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered population. We endeavor to share God’s Word by being Christian examples of love through worship, community service, and by providing a place for ministry and education.

Church of the Savior (Cedar Park, TX) - We are a progressive community of faith located just outside of Austin, TX, with a dual affiliation with both the United Church of Christ and the American Baptist Churches - USA. Our congregation is a mix of folks with a variety of religious backgrounds and a broad range of life experiences.
Church of the Solid Rock (Dallas, TX) - We are a non-denominational, God fearing, Bible teaching, Jesus believing, and agape loving church.
Our Mission is to preach, teach and reach one soul at a time with the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ, through the Inspired Word of God, with the help of the Holy Spirit.  The Message will go forth without compromise or reservation.  We will offer the message of salvation, which is the free, unmerited gift
of grace; and love such as Jesus loved us.
Community Gospel is a Texas non-profit corporation in good standing with the State of Texas. We pray you will be enlightened, strengthened, and as we say in the south - plain ol' blessed! We know you will experience the love of Jesus Christ here at Community Gospel.

Dallas Gay and Lesbian Alliance (DGLA) - has a long, rich history of advocacy and education on issues affecting the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered community, including political and social change and fighting discrimination based on sexual orientation and on gender identity and expression.

DGLA’s history spans more than 30 years of working within the GLBT community and with elected officials and staff at the City of Dallas and surrounding communities toward the full participation of all people in society.

The Mission of the Dallas Peace Center is to promote a just and peaceful world through constructive action in education, dialogue, reconciliation and advocacy.
Dallas Southern Pride (Dallas, TX) - Dallas Southern Pride is designed to promote positive awareness and foster support for organizations that are addressing health, education, economic and social issues affecting local LGBT communities of color. Dallas Southern Pride is the only local Black PRIDE organization with a long-standing history in this area for providing signature events aimed at the Black LGBT community.
While historically prides have been predominately gay male events, Dallas Southern Pride also partners with local women's organizations to ensure that the needs of this important community are addressed with workshops on relationships, health, wellness and financial planning.  This event has a distinguished history in our community, and is part of our ongoing commitment to educating and empowering women of color.
Delta Lambda Phi - Beta Rho Chapter (Austin, TX) - Delta Lambda Phi makes a positive and lasting difference in the lives of our Brothers and our community. Our commitment to social justice, friendship, and personal growth is reflected through making our presence make a difference. Our Brotherhood is committed to friendship with all and we welcome those who aspire to share our vision.

Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church (Houston, TX) - Our faith, Unitarian Universalism, is a spiritually alive and justice-centered religion. Unitarian Universalists search for truth along many paths. Rather than basing our religion on specific beliefs, we gather around shared moral values that include the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We believe that our likenesses are much more significant than our differences.
  Founded in 2010, the Fort Bend LGBT Political Caucus is dedicated to eliminating prejudice, violence, and injustice against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people through education, activism, and political advocacy.

Grace Lutheran Church (Houston, TX) - At Grace, we embrace everyone, regardless of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity. You see, we are a Reconciling in Christ Lutheran church, joyfully following God's call to love one another without judgment, without fear, and without discrimination.
HATCH is dedicated to empowering gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, questioning youth and their allies, ages 13-20, to become positive contributors to society by providing asafe social environment for GLBTIQA youth, offering role models and peer support, and sponsoring educational and community outreach opportunities.

Hope for Peace & Justice is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is equipping progressive people of faith to be champions for peace and justice. Founded in 2004 by the Cathedral of Hope, H4PJ is led by the Rev. Michael S. Piazza, a longtime social justice advocate who has been a leading progressive voice in Dallas for more than 23 years.

Houston GLBT Political Caucus - The HGLBTPC is the South's Oldest Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Civil Rights Organization. Founded in 1975, the Houston GLBT Political Caucus is dedicated to eliminating prejudice, violence, and injustice against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people through education, activism, and political advocacy.


Houston GLBT Community Center - The mission is to empower, educate, and nurture individuals of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities, generating a sense of community by providing for their social, emotional, and physical well being.


The Houston Stonewall Young Democrats (HSYD) is a group of progressive aged 14-40 who are dedicated to fighting for LGBT rights and inclusion through supporting like-minded candidates and causes.

HRC— Human Rights Campaign envisions an America where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are ensured equality and embraced as full members of the American family at home, at work and in every community.

Join the Impact Austin’s mission is to encourage our community to engage our opposition in a conversation about full equality and to do this with respect, dignity, and an attitude of outreach and education. 

Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.

Legislative Queery - offers a queer perspective on the Texas Legislature as written by a former Legislative Aide. We're a little bit street activist, a little bit law clerk.

LGBT Advocates is committed to improving our campus' policies and attitudes toward LGBT Students, Faculty and Staff.


Log Cabin Republicans – Dallas, Inc.’s mission is to educate the Republican Party about gay and lesbian  issues and positions, and educate the gay and lesbian community about Republican issues and positions.

Metropolitan Community Church of San Antonio - We are called to co-create with God a just and loving community by: being a source of spiritual, enrichment; liberating hearts, minds and souls; and proclaiming God's grace and all inclusive love for everyone.

Metropolitan Community Church of Austin at Freedom Oaks (MCC Austin) is a progressive Christian church sharing a message of God's all-inclusive love. Our community is dedicated to non-racist, non-sexist, non-homophobic values of Christian love and service, frequent social and educational events, opportunities for community service and activism, and lots of fellowship and fun.

Montrose Counseling Center provides culturally affirming, quality and affordable prevention and behavioral health services primarily for and about Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) individuals, persons living with HIV/AIDS, and their significant others.
  Montrose Grace Place is an organization that serves homeless youth in the Montrose area of Houston. We were founded by members of Grace Lutheran Church in 2009, and are working on becoming a separately incorporated 501 (c )3 organization. Our mission is not to evangelize, convert, judge or shame, but to provide a safe, welcoming environment for vulnerable homeless youth of all sexualities and gender identities, providing nourishment, healthy relationships and hope for the future.



National Association of Social Workers (NASW Texas)
is a professional membership association that advocates for social workers, advances the profession of social work, and promotes sound public policy that is designed to ensure that human needs are met.
North Texas GLBT Chamber’s mission is to empower GLBT and allied businesses and promote economic development in North Texas.  We empower GLBT businesses and promote economic development in North Texas. Our membership includes small businesses and Fortune 100 companies; businesses that are GLBT owned/operated and others that are our allies.

Out Youth’s (OY's) Mission is to promote the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of sexual minority youth so that they can openly and safely explore and affirm their identities.

OUTLaw (Austin, TX) - is a social and political student organization dedicated to serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community at UT Law School. Our goal is to provide support for this community and a voice for LGBT concerns.

PFLAG National and Texas Chapters promote the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays provides opportunity for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.

Plymouth United Church of Christ (Spring, TX) - In a culture in which size equals importance, Plymouth United Church offers an alternative to that belief. We are a smaller church community that is blessed with a large heart in which we love one another. Queer People of Color and Allies (Austin, TX) - QPOCA exists to contribute to the self empowerment and visibility of people of color, queers and our communities at UT.



Resource Center Dallas' mission is to serve the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (GLBT) and North Texas communities by providing: support to GLBT Individuals andorganizations; health, HIV and social services; and education and advocacy.

  Resurrection Metropolitan Community Church is on a bold mission to transform hearts, lives, and history. We are a movement that faithfully proclaims God’s inclusive love for all people and proudly bears witness to the holy integration of spirituality and sexuality.

StandOUT (Austin, TX) - We as an organization seek to promote queer issues through issue advocacy, political activism, and organized visibility events. We are a sexually diverse group seeking gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and ally members who wish to become more involved in issues related to and affecting the queer community.

The Texas Stonewall Democratic Caucus (TSDC) is a   general-purpose political committee and is the official   Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Caucus of the Texas Democratic Party.

Local Stonewall Chapters:
Texas Transgender Non-Discrimination Summit - Texas Colleges and Universities wishing to gain transgender rights in institution policies should attend this strategy sharing summit. Learn what works and what does not work in changing policy on campuses to protect transgender faculty, staff, and students. Make connections with those already doing this work. Learn from their successes and experiences. Gain insight and create a supportive network of like-minded individuals and institutions. 

Texas Gay Straight Alliance Network is a statewide program which unites school-based GSAs student clubs to one another. Through peer support, leadership development, and training, Texas GSA Network supports young people in starting, strengthening, and sustaining GSAs and building their capacity. 

Transgender Education Network of Texas is an organization dedicated to furthering the education of gender diversity in the State of Texas. We work to accomplish this through education and networking in both public and private forums. Through our efforts we strive to halt discrimination through social, legal, legislative and corporate education..


The Transgender Foundation of America (TFA) is a Houston-based grass-roots nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for transgender people.

University Democrats is the largest and oldest political organization at UT-Austin and the leading force of progressive student activism in the state of Texas. Today, we are the largest College Democrats chapter in the country — working tirelessly to bring CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN to UT, the state of Texas, and the entire nation.

Youth First Texas’ mission is to provide group interaction and individual support for GLBTQ Youth by providing age  appropriate activities, programs, and resources that facilitate empowerment and self-acceptance.
